Patrice Rice has spent her life building businesses—and helping others build theirs.
Starting in the basement of her home, she founded a hospitality recruiting company that grew into more than 200 franchised offices across the United States and Canada. Long before remote work became common, Patrice was helping people change careers, build businesses, and create better lives.
After building and selling her company, Patrice looked forward to a quieter life on the farm she had always dreamed of.
But retirement didn’t last long.
When two beloved farm animals—an alpaca and a goat—died from mosquito-borne brain worms, Patrice refused to accept that toxic chemicals were the only answer. Her search for a safer solution led her to a chemist who had developed an all-natural mosquito control formula made from essential oils.
That became the foundation of Mosquito Sheriff.
