Summer Grilling Mosquito Control

Summer Grilling Kick Off Series

 Family grilling

Summer is in the air and so are the mosquitos. Mosquito Sheriff is actively working to eliminate mosquitos from ruining the fun at your next picnic. Summer grilling mosquito control is the sheriffs’ top priority this summer to ensure your barbecue party is a success. So, you can feel confident when you invite your friends and family over this summer.

Mosquitos are most active during the warmer season. The warmer weather makes them pass through their life cycle faster, so more are laying eggs, and more are hatching. Mosquitos tend to come out during the morning hours and evening hours because they can become easily dehydrated from too much sun.

When preparing your yard for your barbecue be sure to do a quick scan of any standing water. Mosquitos use standing water to lay eggs. The eggs will only need a few days to hatch. The life cycle of a mosquito is just days from the egg stage to a biting adult, so you want to be sure to remove standing water from your property.

Next you can keep some great plants around your patio to keep mosquitos away. Citronella is an awesome option. This plant smells great and will keep the bugs away while you are enjoying your meal. If you are into herbs, peppermint, basil, rosemary, dill, and sage are all great options too. These are all perfect to keep near the patio for cooking.

– I was looking for a Non-Toxic/Natural way to handle the mosquitos and ticks problem as my children and pets are always in the garden, so my friend recommended me to this company, they shared a lot of information and insight and the process was easy to follow.
