Hello, I’m Rich Figueiras. I’m a sergeant with 25 years’ experience in law enforcement, known for my team-oriented approach. Alongside my commitment to public service, I’ve thrived as a small business owner for two decades. My wife and I own a successful children’s center that serves our local community. As I approach retirement from the Calvert County Sheriffs Office, I have been researching the next challenge in my life. The opportunity needed to meet three main requirements: to be my own boss, a small risk with a big reward, and a venture that included my family.

OUR MISSION

For Mosquito Sheriff Anne Arundel County Maryland, there is nothing more pitiful than a family cooped inside their house on a warm and sunny evening just because of some tiny, incessant pests buzzing outside on their property. Our mission is to see children be carefree once again on the grass, with no parents hovering over them with insect electrocutors in their hands.
